Ananian graduated as a biologist from Yerevan State University in
1994). During 1994 -1996 he became a field and museum researcher
for "A Field Guide to the Birds of Armenia" (1997) and
the "Handbook of the Birds of Armenia" (1999). Accomplished
in Environmental Education at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Pennsylvania,
USA (1999) and since 1998, Vasil has guided foreign individual birders
as well as international birdwatching tours throughout Armenia.
His trips are particularly aimed on Transcaucasian specialities
such as Caucasian Grouse, Caspian Snowcock, Semi-collared Flycatcher,
Mongolian Finch and many others. His interests also include herpetofauna
and Dragonflies of Armenia as well as wildlife art. |
